DEKODUR Aluminium Vapour Barrier (HPL)

DEKODUR Aluminium Vapour Barrier (HPL) is 1.2 mm thick laminate smoothed
on both sides with an aluminium central layer of 300µ (0.3 mm) thickness. The
specific configuration of the individual components makes DEKODUR Aluminium
Vapour Barrier vapour-proof and diffusion-proof.

DEKODUR Aluminium Vapour Barrier meets the requirements of DIN EN 1121 –
climate class III – as well as the European requirements of EN 1530 – class 2d.
DEKODUR Aluminium Vapour Barrier is particularly suitable for installation in
doors and processing between wood materials to be veneered, lacquered or
foil-coated.

Apart from protecting against vapour diffusion, DEKODUR Aluminium Vapour
Barrier also offers excellent dimensional stability and form stability. In connection
with wood materials, DEKODUR Aluminium Vapour Barrier can be processed
with usual class D3/4 or D4/1 polyvinyl acetate dispersion glue (PVAc glue).
Connection with decorative high-pressure laminate (HPL), aluminium or stainless
steel as decorative cover layer is possible using contact, melting or assembly
adhesive systems.

A successful triathlon season for Marco Hufnagel

Marco’s report on the latest championship:

I’m very happy to have achieved a good result in Heidelberg. The
weather was perfect, the temperature was high, and the Baden-
Württemberg championship being held at the same time ensured
a quality field of starters on the course.

On the triathlon scene, the Heidelbergman is reckoned to be one
of the toughest Olympic distances in Europe. It involves cycling
up the Königstuhl twice, and over those 36 km (22 miles) there
are over 800 metres (2,600 ft.) of ascent to tackle. Then there
are 10 km (6 miles) along the Philosophers’ Way towards
Köpfel/Ziegenhausen before turning back to the finish in the
Neckarwiese park.

My swim had already gone well and, even though the competition
in Roth had been just a week before, my legs were strong on the
bike as well! As I was expecting, things were a bit shaky when I
got to the run, but I was able to keep the pace up, especially on
the downhill.

I was overjoyed to finish second in my age category, both in the
age-group ranking for the Heidelbergman and in the Baden-Würt-
temberg championships.
