At a time when sustainability and resource conservation are becoming increasingly important, DEKODUR is setting new standards in the door industry. With the further development of our proven aluminum vapor barrier, we present an innovation that perfectly combines functionality and environmental protection.

Recycling as a basic principle

At the heart of our vapor barrier is a 0.3 mm thick aluminum layer, 75% of which consists of high-quality recycled material. By using aluminum scrap, we not only significantly reduce the consumption of raw materials, but also save up to 95% of the energy that would be required for the production of primary aluminum.

ECO core material: the sustainable revolution

As a further milestone in our sustainability strategy, we are now also introducing the aluminum vapor barrier with our innovative ECO core material. This pioneering development completely dispenses with phenol and formaldehyde. Instead, we rely on 100% biological secondary components made from renewable raw materials. We are particularly proud of the fact that the kraft paper used for the ECO resin coating also has a recycled paper fiber content of 25% - another building block in our commitment to closed material cycles.

Technical excellence meets environmental protection

The new ECO version of our aluminum vapor barrier retains all the technical advantages of the classic version:

• Outstanding dimensional stability
• Excellent dimensional stability
• Compliance with DIN EN 1121 (climate class III)
• Conformity with EN 1530 (class 2d)
